Drivers were being stopped tonight. Reporter police are checking for drunk drivers and warning people about the dangers of others. This is all in memory of autumn jenkins, who was killed in a headon crash with a drunk driver in april. You have saved a life if you get one impaired driver off of the roadways. On them is gone. She is now a statistic. The young womans father is also a volunteer firefighter and says her story needs to be told to save lives. We have to educate the public on driving intoxicated. And hopefully they will be able to educate more people as we go along. Tonight is just the beginning. More than 10,000 people were killed across the United States in 2013 and accidents involving alcohol, a statistic that might be shocking to some people being stopped here.
