Commuters will start to see reduced speed limits and lane restrictions along Ring Road this week as construction on the new Winnipeg Street Overpass begins.
“One of the first things residents will see will be work taking place in the median and shoulders on Ring Road,” said Chris Warren, director of roadways and transportation at the City of Regina during a technical briefing of the project on Monday. “Large equipment will be working adjacent to the roadway to install supporting structures to the foundations and constructions of the piers and abutments for the overpass.”
