Submitted photo by Cortney Leshures The Swift Current 13U AAA 57’s split a pair of games under the lights in Moose Jaw on Thursday. The 57’s defeated the host Moose Jaw Canucks 17-6 in the opener. The Canucks replied with a 13-12 walk-off win in seven innings. Swift Current trailed by six runs but came back to tie the game 12-12 in the top of the seventh when Mason Fauser hit a three-run home run, his third home run of the evening. The 57’s moved to 6-4 in the Regina Baseball League, while the Canucks improved to 1-2-1. The 13U AAA 57’s will be at home for an exhibition double header on Saturday against the Saskatoon Cardinals. They will host a league double header against the Regina Buffalos on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Field.
