The first Saskatchewan student has qualified for the Braille Challenge Finals. Only 50 people were chosen from more than 1,000 who competed across the world.
Regina students who are blind or visually impaired were tested on their braille skills in a one-of-kind competition hosted by the Braille Institute of America. Kids competed at Regina's Arcola Community School, which has a program for students with visual impairments. CBC Radio's The Morning Edition stopped by the challenge.
