The Special Investigation team probing the MLA poaching case in Telangana asked BJP general secretary B L Santosh asking him to appear before police on November 21.
Last month, the Cyberabad Police, while producing three people in court for their alleged involvement in the Telangana MLA poaching case, said that the legislators were lured to destabilise the state government.
In what could be termed as a setback for Bharat Rashtra Samithi, an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court rejected the remand of the accused in the BRS MLAs poaching case. Three people were arrested by police after raids at a farmhouse on charges that they were trying to lure BRS legislators with cash, cheques and contracts.
Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy has denied having any role in the alleged attempt to poach four MLAs from Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's party. This comes after police arrested three people allegedly trying to lure BRS MLAs to switch parties.
BRS minister Kamalakar warned that the eyes of BJP cadres would be scooped out if they even tried to look at their MLAs. This comes after three people were arrested for trying to lure BRS MLAs to the BJP with cash and contracts.
