Redding Residents Can Apply for an Absentee Ballot for May 4, 2021 Budget Referendum Written by Town of Redding The Annual Town of Redding and Region #9 Board of Education budget referendum will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.  Voting will be held in person at the Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Road, Redding from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Registered voters and residents who are U.S. Citizens, over the age of 18 years, and liable to the town for taxes on property assessed at least $2,000 are eligible to vote.  A valid ID must be presented at the polls.  Absentee balloting is available for those individuals who cannot vote in person for one of the following reasons:  active service in the armed forces; absence from town during all hours of the referendum; physical disability; illness; or religious tenets, or COVID-19.  Ballots will be available from the Town Clerk starting Thursday, April 22, 2021.
