Deputy Mayor of Urban Development Anni Sinnemäki (Greens) stated to Helsingin Sanomat on Thursday that the Finnish capital could feasibly set up zones that cannot be accessed with diesel or petrol vehicles. The zones, she added, are being weighed up as the city scrambles to step up its emission reduction efforts to achieve its targets for 2030.
