Motorists will encounter a lane closure for several weeks starting Thursday on a portion of South Atherton Street in College Township, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The right lane northbound will be closed for pipe replacement work in the area of Warnock Road, between Warner Boulevard and Scenery Drive.
The closure is expected to last three to four weeks, according to PennDOT.
Elsewhere in Centre County, lane closures continue to be in place on Route 322 east from Sandy Ridge Trail to Reese Hollow Road near Port Matilda. Currently, the left/passing lane is closed utilizing a long-term lane closure set up while the contractor completes inlet adjustments and paving. The restrictions will be in place through early July.
