there s a protest organized by many groups that are involved with white supremacist politics. and the alleged reason to be there is to defend confederate monuments. [paula] controversial right wing blogger jason kessler planned what he called a pro-white rally here to protest charlottesville s effort to remove a statue of confederate general robert e. lee from a city park. [angry shouting] [reena] the violence included an apparent attack with a car on a crowd of peaceful protestors. at least one person was killed. one of the white nationalists uses his car to plow through a group of anti-racist protestors, and kills heather heyer.
