South bay and the east bay. This is where i expect well see the most of the smoke, the haze from the fires today. Why . Take a look at the upper level wind profile coming from the south ushering that smoke into the bay area. So what does that mean for you saturday . We will see elevated levels of smoke and haze for today. Watch what happens as i advance on into sunday. You see a shift, more of an on shore flow. This should help to reduce some of that smoke and that haze at least at the lower levels. We may still see it at the upper levels but i think it will help to reduce in some areas tomorrow. Over all air quality wise, not as bad as it could be. We are moderate area wide. Not good but not bad. Well take what we can get.
