WEST ORANGE, NJ Kimya Jackson has been named as the new principal of Redwood Elementary School, officials announced.
According to a statement from district administrators, Jackson has been part of the Redwood staff since 2004, working as a second-grade teacher until 2019 when she received her appointment to assistant principal at Redwood and to Washington Elementary School in 2020.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate in teacher education and teacher development at Montclair State University.

Utah Students Receive Winter Coats Through PFFU’s Coats for Kids Program and a $2,500 Grant From California Casualty

Following its $2,500 contribution to the PFFU Coats for Kids program, California Casualty along with long time partners, the Professional Firefighters Association of Utah (PFFU) and the National Education Association (NEA), delivered 85 warm coats to students at Redwood Elementary School in Salt Lake Valley’s Granite School District.
Representatives from California Casualty, NEA Member Benefits, PFFU, local Firefighters and Redwood Elementary were all present.
As 2020 was a most difficult fundraising year - California Casualty stepped up BIG to help us get more kids in coats just in time for the holidays
