This year's observance of Veterans Day will include the placement of American flags on the graves of more than 260 veterans at Myrtle Grove Memorial Cemetery, 1017 Cousins St. in Eureka. There will be a brief program to honor all veterans at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Members of the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka grilled brats, prepared hot German potato salad and sauerkraut, and heated and salted giant pretzels for “Best of the Wurst” diners whose dinners were delivered to their cars or who joined friends and family at tables for a dine-in grilled bratwurst experience
