JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The work of A-State crews and city, county and state authorities made the difference as A-State officials said Friday that classes would resume Monday after a winter storm pounded the area.
According to a media release from A-State, in-classroom activities and on-campus work will start Feb. 22 while on-campus dining returns to weekend hours Feb. 20.
A-State Operating under Remote Work Plan Due to Inclement Weather

JONESBORO – The Arkansas State University campus and Jonesboro area are under an ice storm warning from the National Weather Service in Memphis Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 10-11. As a result, A-State will operate under its remote working plan due to inclement winter weather for Wednesday, Feb. 10.
All essential personnel for on-campus operations will report as usual, and the campus is not closed. All on-campus classes will shift to remote delivery course delivery on Wednesday. Instructors are asked to reach out to their students as soon as practical to let them know how the learning material will be delivered.
