The U.S. Space Command will likely call Alabama its permanent home and not Colorado.
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced that the Air Force has selected Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal as the preferred location Wednesday afternoon. I couldn’t be more pleased to learn that Alabama will be the new home to the United States Space Command! Ivey said in a statement on Twitter.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. The U.S. Air Force is expected to announce Huntsville, Alabama, as the location for the U.S. Space Command headquarters, according to Alabama s governor.
