A Parliamentary Standing Committee has recommended all the ministries and departments under the Central government strictly comply with the instructions issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) from time to time in respect of grievance redressal.
The time limit for redressal of the grievances received on Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) has been reduced from 45 days to 30 days.
Emphasising speedy and affordable justice by consumer commissions across the country, Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday urged that all Commissions to see how digital media such as WhatsApp and e-mail can be generously used to issue notices, replies and other documents.
