Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 8 (2021) edition in global markets. This Redmi Note 8 (2021) follows the Redmi Note 8 that launched in 2019 in India. This new special edition has the same build and almost the same features as the original Redmi Note 8. The only major change here is that the 2021 edition of the Redmi Note 8 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor.
Xiaomi has also revealed that over 25 million units of the Redmi Note 8 have been shipped globally. The new Redmi Note 8 (2021) edition has a waterdrop notch, quad cameras, and a fast-charging battery. Currently, there is no word on the India launch of the Redmi Note 8 (2021) yet.
