Redding Elementary School PTA wished Redding s awesome staff a Happy Staff Appreciation Week on Facebook. We are celebrating our peerless RES staff for all they do - this year, more than ever! And thanks to all of YOU, RESPTA community, for helping us restock the staff lounge with snacks, drinks and more. PLUS, we were able to have a raffle with a ton of great gift cards for our fantastic RES staff!
The PTA gave a special shoutout to the generous folks at Redding Nursery who gifted every staff member with a lovely plant to symbolize all the ways they’ve helped our students grow!
Police: Drivers critically injured in Redding accident

REDDING Two drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries after a collision Monday night, according to police.
First responders were dispatched to Route 107 in the area of Redding Elementary School for a reported two-vehicle crash around 9 p.m., Police Chief Mark O’Donnell said.
He said the drivers of both vehicles were taken to Danbury Hospital with critical injuries.
Route 107 Lonetown Road near Mohawk Trail was closed for hours as crews investigated.
