Fate of dog who savaged to death a tiny pooch decided by Glasgow court

Glasgow Sheriff Court. A TINY dog was savaged to death by a dangerous Staffordshire Bull Terrier which broke free from its harness. Teacup Yorkshire terrier Nibbles was attacked by Joseph Robertson’s dog Summer in Garthamlock on August 8 this year. Robertson, 54, pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to being in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control. READ MORE:  A hearing took place to decide the fate of Summer. Sheriff Paul Brown read through facts agreed between the prosecution and defence of the horror incident which occurred in Redcastle Square. He said: Summer jumped on the Nibbles and grabbed it by the abdomen with its teeth and shook the dog in the air.
