34 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Del Norte County Courtesy of www.cdc.gov Thirty-four new COVID-19 cases were reported to the Del Norte Public Health Branch on Tuesday. This many cases in one day could result in Del Norte County moving back to the Purple Tier, the most restrictive category in California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Public Health Officer Dr. Warren Rehwaldt, who confirmed Thursday’s case count, said if the cases are connected to a single outbreak, Public Health may be able to appeal to the state for forgiveness. But, he said, he couldn’t guarantee that would happen.

Effective March 31, 2021, several other counties, including Alameda, Santa Cruz and the Southern California counties of Los Angeles and Orange, joined them. You can tell on people s faces that they have been waiting for this just like we have for about a year, Daniela Bower, Public Relations Manager at Belmont Park told NBC 7. Bower says ride operators have extra face coverings for those who didn t bring their own and hand sanitizing stations are at each attraction. Bower says combining reopened rides with spring break can make staying within health codes challenging. There are a lot of rules, but we also are in the fun business.
