On Saturday, Jan. 20, Blaine MacPherson, Chair of the PEI Harness Racing Industry Association, and David MacKenzie, General Manager of Red Shores, announced that the 2024 PEI harness racing season plans to offer more race dates to reflect an increasing horse population.
On a cool November night with a wet track after significant overnight snowfall, High Roller put in one of the fastest trips ever recorded by a two-year-old filly in Atlantic Canadian Harness Racing history on Thursday (Nov. 2) at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The 2023 racing season came to a close on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 29) at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway with the program featuring Rollwithhottytoddy giving driver Adam Merner one of his five winners.
One of the finest Invitational pacers on the Eastern Seaboard of Canada will head to Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway for the closing day of 2023 on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 29.
