Station Casino, a leading hotel and casino company, has publicly announced future leaders for its new Durango resort, scheduled to open in the fall off 2023.
In the western American state of California and the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians has reportedly announced that it expects to break ground on its new tribal casino resort before the end of next month.
According to a Thursday report from the online news domain at GVWire.com, the revelation from the federally-recognized tribe comes some eight months after the California State Supreme Court threw out an action from the United Auburn Indian Community of the Auburn Rancheria that had sought to scupper the plan for the new Madera County casino resort. The source detailed that this second tribe is responsible for the state’s Thunder Valley Casino Resort and had been seeking a judgement that would have invalidated its rival’s 2012 gaming compact.
Red Rock Resorts is ready to start a new project. During an earnings call this week, Station Casinos CEO Frank Fertitta III stated that early next year, a ground-breaking ceremony will hopefully take place for a new casino on South Durango Drive. Little information was provided on the subject, but more should be revealed by the next earnings call.

The Red Rock property was first purchased back in 2000 and is
71 acres of land located at Durango Drive and the 215 Beltway. For twenty+ years now, the company has been working towards opening a casino there. Back in 2008, Red Rock Resorts had plans to start with a hotel tower and conference area but failed to get started.

In Las Vegas and Red Rock Resorts Incorporated has reportedly agreed to sell its Palms Casino Resort property to the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority arm of the federally-recognized San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
According to a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper, the agreement for an undisclosed amount is expected to close later in the year to see the 700-room venue become the Nevada city’s second tribal casino following the recent opening by Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment of the nearby Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas development.
