Edmondo DiPaolo, 34, of Pemberton Township, was arrested after the new charges were filed and was again released during a first appearance in Superior Court, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The new charges were made in connection to the same girl, authorities said. They were filed after law enforcement reviewed nearly 200 hours of footage that authorities say showed additional abuse during the five months when DiPaolo was working as the girl’s caregiver in her family’s Southampton home.
DiPaolo was initially charged with aggravated sexual assault, attempted aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
He faces new charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
DiPaolo, of the 100 block of Daniels Avenue, was taken into custody Thursday. He was released after a court appearance Friday.
He worked for Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services Inc., the prosecutor s office said.
It said anyone with suspicions should call New Jersey State Police Detective P. Ryba at the Red Lion Barracks at 609-859-2282.
