这部由萧华将军作词，晨耕、生茂、唐诃、遇秋共同谱曲的作品，用音乐回溯了红军长征的艰难历程。红军不怕远征难，正是伟大的长征精神为《长征组歌》注入了生生不息的力量。时代寄语萧华将军亲笔写下长征故事 1964年，在周恩来总理的建议下，抱病多时的萧华将军离开北京，到杭州疗养。1966年将迎来红军长征胜利30周年，当时就有许多报纸、杂志向萧华邀约，希望将军能用诗文纪念这一伟大壮举。 “那么多的约稿，父亲觉得怎么也写不过来，他萌生了写《长征组歌》的想法。”萧华的女儿萧霞回忆，1964年9月至11月，萧华首先写下了包含12首诗歌的《长征组诗》，“写完之后，父亲又在想，要是能把《长征组诗》谱上曲、唱出来，就更好了。” 萧华把自己的想法告诉了当时的北京军区战友文工团，作曲家晨耕、生茂、唐诃、遇秋接下
