WOODBRIDGE, VA Sentara Medical Center is hosting a virtual workout session on Thursday, Feb. 25 to raise money for the American Heart Association. The workout is being run by Shannon Link of FIT4MOM, and Sentara will donate $10 to charity for each attendee, according to a news release. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for Americans, according to the CDC. In their news release, Sentara said is is hosting the free event to encourage a healthy diet and exercise for residents, in an effort to mitigate the risk of heart disease.
