At least three establishments have closed their doors after having interacted with persons who tested positive for COVID-19.
Red Door Lounge and West Bar and Restaurant, all located on the West Coast, along with the popular Café Sol, have all temporarily suspended operations.
The upscale Port St Charles also reported having a “long-term resident” who tested positive for COVID-19.
In separate statements that were posted on their respective social media pages, the businesses revealed that persons who had recently tested positive for the respiratory virus had patronised them.
The development comes less than 24 hours after it was announced that the Ministry of Health and Wellness was investigating five local cases of COVID-19 in which the persons had no travel history.
