BLACKSBURG – Hoping to follow last week’s meeting with another strong performer, the Virginia Tech athletics teams welcome eight schools to the Hokie Invitational at Rector Field House on Friday and Saturday.

The two-day meeting will not be broadcast, but live statistics will be made available via Flash Results.
Eight schools will travel to Blacksburg, including seven ACC schools (Virginia, Duke, UNC, NC State, Louisville, Clemson and Wake Forest) and Tennessee.
Tech, which was ranked on both sides in the USTFCCCA polls last season, returns 32 All-ACC performers from last year. The first USTFCCCA poll is expected to be released Monday, January 25, following events this weekend.

Field events highlighted the Virginia men’s and women’s track and field teams on the final day at the Virginia Tech Invitational as the Cavaliers closed Day 2 of the competition at the Rector Field House on Saturday.
A 2020 All-American in the event, senior Khyasia Caldwell won the long jump by five inches at the Virginia Tech Invitational. She recorded a jump of 6.09m (19’11.75”), the NCAA’s fourth-best jump so far this season.

Story links DURHAM, NC – The Duke athletics team continues its indoor slate in the Virginia this weekend Tech Invitational in Blacksburg, Va.
Traveling to Rector Field House next to Duke is Virginia, North Carolina, Syracuse, High Point and Rhode Island. Events begin on Friday at 5:00 PM ET and the race concludes with the men’s 4x400m relay on Saturday at 3:30 PM.
