As part of the $2.6 million jetty and boat dock project, the city would install roughly 60 boat slips that could be rented. The city would collect the revenue from boat dock rental fees.
"It’s considered an area that regularly has people in the area that may not have adequate time to get to safety,” Joe Schroeder said of the decision to select the campground as the location.
“The main goal is to place trees where there haven’t been any trees, or to replace trees that have died off,” Parks and Recreation Director Kevin Nelson said.
