GREENFIELD The city’s Recreation Department will continue to raise money for its annual Independence Day fireworks display, which has officially been postponed to Monday evening due to forecasted rain on Friday.
The department is still a few thousand dollars short of its $18,000 goal, Recreation Director Christy Moore said on Thursday morning.
GREENFIELD The Recreation Department and other city officials have begun collecting donations toward the $18,000 needed for this year’s Independence Day celebration, to be held July 2.Collections will take place through Wednesday, June 30, from noon.
