The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), based in Edmonton, serves the Tri-Region area and provides several programs and services to residents in Edmonton and those living in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County.

Such resources include 211 Edmonton, the 24-Hour Distress Line, Advocacy and Wayfinding programs, Suicide Bereavement Support Services, and Suicide Caregiver Support Services. CMHA also operates Recovery College Edmonton, a peer-to-peer learning environment where the instructors are coming from experiences they lived through, to provide free classes on mental health recovery.
