The president did sign a continuing resolution for a twoyear budget framework into law and that will allow us to not have a Government Shutdown until fiscal year 2019. There are specifically in the measure the funding for extending the Childrens Health Insurance Program for an addition four years. Reauthorizing funding for more than 7 billion to Community Health centers that includes the departments dollars for homeless services. It provides 6 billion dedicated opioid treatment and Mental Health service and funding to National Institutes of health and the child Home Visiting program. We are still tracking the 340b issue as well as the fact we know potential of cuts and future cuts in Services Including in cdc, samis a, nih and other areas and keep you informed as we know. Senator scott wiener announced a new conservatorship for addiction and homelessness as part of the definitions. We hope that we are in support of this with the senator and we can
Growth already assumed in a deficit. This is the Revenue Growth that helps us off set some of the other Cost Increases that you are not seeing, including g. P. H. Staff, you know, staffing Cost Increases thats man dated in m. O. U. S, salary infringe and other inflationary costs and then which gave us a target of of general fund reduction. What were doing with all the initiatives that we brought forward is a slightly lopsided balancing plan where were 28 million to the good in year one and 20 million until bad. If you look a fritz the twoyear perspective which we have done in previous years, were still overall to the good in terms of balancing but well be sort of looking at this sort of imbalance in the next week or two and well be hopefully bringing you something that is a little bit more a little bit more balanced in year two. Well, its simply really just sticking with whats working and always improving. You cant get complacent and say okay, lets put as many security guards on or this many staff and make sure it stays the same. Its more of staying on top of it, weekly meetings and making sure everyone is staying on top of what theyre supposed to be doing. As far as, you know, if theres going to be more or less staff on, definitely not going to be less. If anything theres going to be more staff on. With everything that is going on, a lot of people just think our venue is closed, so we anticipate with marketing that more people are going to come to our venue.
