new study came out with 54 million police citizens interactions this year, less than 2% involved in a sort of coarse whatsoever. but yet, you have this continuing demonization of the law enforcement profession. so what do we have? record retirements, record resignations and you cannot get people to come to this profession. we have two police officers murdered in the last 24 hours and two more critically stabbed. you guys talk about all of this so we can t get people to come to this profession. and yet, we have woke das and judges that won t do their jobs. it is all leading to absolute chaos on the streets. because when cops are crime bidcitizens we have rape, robbey and so many other crimes on the rise and they do nothing about it. carley: 350 police officers
their job. stop taking away their tools and give them more resources. no new york we need to refund the police and restore the plain clothes unit. we need to take away put back that immunity protection. we re seeing less people wanting to join the police force. we re seeing record retirements. i hope the new mayor takes action to fix these issues so we can once again restore public safety in new york and the politicians in albany need to fix that disastrous bail law once and for all. you bring up a good point about the police and staffing shortages. i know here in the state of colorado where i m located, the city of aurora has just approved $8,000 apiece retention bonuses for their police officers there just to get them to stay for the rest of the year. very good point there. congresswoman, thank you for joining us today. we appreciate it. thank you. the white house taking a supply chain victory lap ahead of the holiday weekend.
