right now. we are looking at a record crest as you heard from our reporter in the field. last time this high, 1993, devastating floods then for st. louis. not going to get as high, but still dangerously high. we get to the peak time in st. louis on thursday and the other cities i mentioned into friday. there s the crest. the crest going well above that at 43.1 feet. the water just doesn t have anywhere to go. not making it to the record level. but this is only the second time in history it s even gotten this high aside from 1993. why is it so bad? you probably remember we ve had so much rain. st. louis has had a new record for rainfall. over 61 inches. this is one of many cities that has seen record rainfall in december and record rainfall for 2015. we will not see the end of the concerns here for a week or two. bonnie schneider underlining
