Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, has crossed 20 million pre-registrations in the country in just over two weeks. The game went up for pre-registrations for Android users on May 18 after being announced early last month. Battlegrounds Mobile India is the Indian avatar of PUBG Mobile that was banned in the country back in September last year along with 117 other apps. The game is essentially the same as PUBG Mobile but with some tweaks made for the Indian audience.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is yet to get an official release date in India. Though the developer, Krafton, once mentioned that they are still in the process to finalise the official launch date. Leaks and rumours in the last few weeks suggest that it is expected to happen in the third week of June, more precisely June 18.
A new leak has surfaced online which once again confirms the June 18 as launch date for the game.
According to a tweet posted by gamer Sagar ‘Maxtern’ Thakur, the Battlegrounds Mobile India will launch on June 18. IGN India has also confirmed the same via industry reports and rumours.
