Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group said it aims to operate at one-third of its pre-Covid-19 capacity by July 2021.
CEO Goh Choon Phong said on May 20 in a virtual conference involving the media that the company made a loss of S$4.3 billion in the last financial year.
Passenger flown revenue decreased by more than S$12 billion or about 95 per cent to S$684.7 million as passenger carriage fell 98 per cent.
However, cargo now accounts for 71 per cent of the group s revenue, which grew 38.8 per cent to S$2.7 billion in FY20/21.
Capacity cut but going back up slowly
SIA s capacity was slashed to 3 per cent in April 2020 after Singapore closed its borders.
This is up from the current period of 14 days.
All travellers from higher-risk countries to serve 21-day SHN
This includes travellers from all countries and regions
except Australia, Brunei, Mainland China, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced in a press conference on May 4.
The travellers will be required to serve their 21-day SHNs at dedicated SHN facilities.
Travellers who are currently serving their 14-day SHNs and have not completed their SHNs by May 7, 11:59pm, will be required to serve an additional seven days at their current facility to minimise movement and risk of transmission.

He shared that both China and Singapore hopes for the de-escalation of tensions or cessation of violence, and for political dialogue to occur.
However, both sides agreed on the importance of respecting the principle of non-interference in domestic matters in Myanmar.
