The COVID‐19 Municipal Utility Relief Program provides financial assistance to Henrico residents with delinquent utility bills. Henrico County is offering the program to residents using CARES ACT funding. Customers whose water and sewer bills are more than 30 days overdue because of economic hardship can apply for financial relief. Every year Emporia officers who want to wear facial hair must donate $20 a month to the department s charity fund. This year, the pandemic prompted the police chief to use those donations to buy presents and a Christmas meal for families in need.
