Bruce Farrin/Rumford Falls Times RUMFORD The air was warm but the Swift River was very cold when five men went for a dip Saturday morning to raise money for Operation ReBoot Outdoors. “That damn water was so cold,” Gary Dolloff of Rumford said after the 30-second plunge. Dolloff and Glenn Gordon of Mexico recruited Ryan Burgess of Mexico and Jason Dolloff and Jim Irish, both of Peru, to join them in raising $700 for the nonprofit that helps service members, veterans and law enforcement officers get outside to hunt, fish and enjoy other activities.
