Collision on the southbound side of 880 in san lenadro and a big rig approaching tried to avoid the accident and made an evasive action but lost criminal control and smashed through a dividing ball. 13 vehicles were involved in the Chain Reaction collision, a huge accident seen so investigators were forced to shut down 880 in both directions. It was a dramatic move but though say this was a huge accident and they had no choice. They have been shut down since the accident happened a little after 3 00 this morning. Though had to make way for a helicopter to severely injured victim. No fatalities have been reported but people on the scene have not heard updates on how the victims are doing only that three were in critical condition.
