ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. The University of New Mexico women’s golf team is back on the road, this time taking on the Bruin Wave invitational hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine in Somis, Calif. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will tee off Monday at 8 a.m. PT (9 a.m. MT) and continue through Wednesday.
The Lobos will compete at The Saticoy Club, a 6,273-yard, par-72 course and will be joined by 14 squads. New Mexico will see a pair of Mountain West teams in Colorado State and San Diego State, both of which the Lobos have seen once before this season. SDSU finished just one spot ahead of the Lobos at the Lamkin Invitational while UNM finished five places ahead of the Rams at the Rebel Beach Invitational.
