desperate for a deal that they re the ones that, you know, you re the one that is desperate for the deal, it s your side that doesn t get what you want. the other party will have a more muscular position going into these negotiations. the iranians won t even talk directly with the united states. the iranians are insisting there s a conduit. you can see the position there. jackie: you bring up a great point. it s not just looking at iran but looking at the enemies around the world. look at russia, north korea and in iran in this case as well. you ve got them sitting back, the world leaders and looking at this administration essentially feeling like we re in a weak negotiating position. any time as you mentioned you re in that weak negotiating position, the results, the outcome is usually not good. right. one of my great mentors reminded me years ago, he said rebecca, look at major powers and who they align with, who they help.
