In general, the show has a certain quality that motivates us to take on any challenge that our week throws at us, be it in work, fitness or any other situation. The most recent episode, however, really hit home with viewers.
One moment, in particular, from 14-year-old contestant Paddy Cody from Kilkenny brought the nation to tears.
Paddy and his family were competing as part of coach Davy Fitzgerald s team but, unfortunately, the Cody s lost out to the Miley family from Kildare in the eliminator.

A young boy taking part in Ireland’s Fittest Family has impressed viewers and made his family proud after taking on a challenging obstacle course by himself during a storm.
Paddy Cody from Co Kilkenny took on the Fast and Furious trail on last night’s episode and gave it his all, running through a field in the wild weather, leaping over bales of hay and balancing carefully on a beam.
