Nine women have been selected to be inducted into the National Women s Hall of Fame this year, as the Seneca Falls-based organization plans to hold an in-person celebration in October. We are pleased to add these American women to the ranks of Inductees whose leadership and achievements have changed the course of American history, said Kate Bennett, co-president and induction chairwoman for the National Women s Hall of Fame. The six living and three deceased honorees will join the 293 other women who’ve been inducted to date, including suffragists, sports and political figures, authors and entertainers. Inductees are honored every other year and are nominated by the public and judged by a team of experts across the various fields.
