WAPELLO An effort to remove an adult entertainment section from the Louisa County Zoning Ordinance will continue to move forward, but at a slower pace than originally planned, members of the Louisa County Planning and Zoning Commission informally agreed Tuesday during the commission’s monthly meeting.
The issue originally was raised by commission chair Michael Vance during the commission’s Dec. 1 meeting, when he reported the original developers of the ordinance, which was approved in 1971, apparently felt a strong need to regulate the businesses because they had devoted more than five pages to them.
