Master Sgt. Luke Armstrong, 49, of Pueblo West, was lauded by his fellow patrol officers via Zoom, including the highest in the state Chief Matthew Packard who said Armstrong was “my drill instructor and my favorite person at the academy going through the cadet process.”
Armstrong stood out front of the Pueblo Colorado State Patrol office to watch a drive-by parade during which he received honks, waves and thanks from those ranging from local residents to his neighbors to Pueblo County sheriff’s officers.
