A big rig carrying paving equipment tried to avoid a collision. And ended up crossing southbound lanes, crashing through the concrete wall sending debris everywhere through the northbound lanes. Firefighters quickly tried to rescue people trapped in their cars. A helicopter landed on the 880 southbound lanes to airlift one victim, the most seriously hurt. Ive seen what happened on the drive up to it. Put them in the chopper. And he took off, and then i seen line four or five ambulance going by and they had somebody in each one of them.
