Realme has trademarked the new name in India ahead of the launch.
Realme Race is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Realme Race flagship phone is due for launch soon. Race is the codename for this device that Realme confirmed last year but it has not said anything on what it is planning to name it for market release. A tipster has now claimed Race will be called Realme GT in India. And the reason why this information has come up is the new trademark that Realme has freshly registered. For now, it is unclear what GT could mean and even if there is a catchy two-word phrase Realme has reserved for this phone, GT seems out of place.

This means there will be a second flagship other than the Snapdragon 888-powered one.
Realme has not disclosed what this device will be called yet.
Realme has announced it will launch a flagship phone powered by the brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor in India this year. This will possibly be a different device from the Realme Race that the company confirmed in December last year right after the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor was unveiled. Peculiarly, Realme is hinting at two flagship devices this year, both catapulting the company further into the 5G market. Realme has big plans to grow into a leading 5G brand and Dimensity 1200 might be a part of efforts towards that.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Realme V15 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.
The smartphone design is based on the Realme Koi fish. Realme V15 5G has been launched in China days after it was first teased. The new smartphone is the Realme Koi that appeared a few days back and was believed to be the flagship phone instead. But Realme China’s president Xu Qi Chase confirmed that Koi is the V15. The Realme V15 is the third smartphone in the V-series bringing 5G support in the mid-range segment. There is hardly anything different on the Realme V15 5G from the company’s recent phones except for the camera design that now features big circles like those on Oppo Reno 5.
