Major stock markets in the Gulf fell in early trade on Thursday, as oil prices fell, with the Qatari bourse on course to post its first weekly loss in four weeks.
Most major stock markets in the Gulf rose in early trade on Tuesday, in line with Asian shares and oil prices, although the Saudi index was on course to extend losses on profit-taking.
China's top property developer Country Garden Holdings said on Thursday its core profit plunged 90% in 2022 and it posted a record net loss, hurt by a sluggish property market and a debt crisis in the sector.
