A Washington federal judge on Thursday refused to grant a new trial to REX-Real Estate Exchange Inc. following a jury trial loss in its suit claiming that Zillow's website thwarts competition, rejecting the company's argument that the court improperly instructed the jury on Zillow's defense.
Federal Judge Thomas S. Zilly declined REX's motion for a retrial on Thursday. The company had been a years-long battle with Zillow over alleged antitrust activity regarding its IDX policies.
