European union. I have spoken with seven of the Foreign Ministers myself this morning. What is clear is that there is not the appetite to imposing economic sanctions or to target any of russias Business Leaders in that list. That is something that many people have speculated on going into this meeting. They are not there yet. The goal of the sanctions is to discourage president Vladimir Putin from annexing crimea but that crimean set voted to join russia but russia does not need to follow through with that. Should president putin decide to annex crimea, we could see the European Union ratchet up the sanctions. The west has given russia its warning and putin will respond and we will speak to russian lawmakers tomorrow. If you listen to the rhetoric coming out of moscow, it is hard to imagine that he will do anything other than to annex crimea. I would point out that it could be a long process or it could be as long as the kremlin wants to. Perhaps that will be a point of negotiation. Fo
