sam kylie joins us from eastern ukraine. sam, that s incredible. what was it like in that helicopter? i mean, the idea that you re flying below the treeline, that the rotor of the helicopter actually hit a tree, i mean, it s extraordinary, the risk that these pilots are taking. it is extraordinary risk. it s a real david and goliath if one needed one of those comparison in his ukraine, that would be it. these are ancient helicopters, sort of soviet equivalent of a black hawk, but a very old and ancient black hawk transport helicopter fitted with these rocket pods, and sent into battle, fearful of fighter jets, of surface-to-air missiles, of ground fire. i mean, when we were on that aircraft, i could have almost lent out the window and touched the stubble of the trees of the fields passing below me. so it really is extremely high risk. they have taken pretty heavy
voted in over and over for a three-year term. lastly, the reason he had this press conference, there have been so many people wanting to get an interview with him in light of how trump tweeted about him that they felt this was the best way to handle all of the demands. a real david and goliath situation that came out of this. also during that news conference chuck jones held, he mentioned another company planning to move 300 jobs to mexico. reporter: right. he actually started working at that job before he got elected to being the union leader. that s rexnord. it s only about a mile away from the carrier plant. it was just back in october that all of the employees were told there shortly after carrier made its announcement that they, too, were going to lose their jobs because that plant is moving to exactly the same place, monterrey, mexico. it s not just ending there. as they point out, donald trump may have saved 800 jobs at
circumventing these longtime treaties. what s your response to that? well, i am not no expert on the treaties you re describing. i did spend some time in canada where the treaties are extremely strong there. they re actually written into the constitution, the rights what they call the first nation s people. and up there, some of these nations which include only maybe 1200 people are fighting against the strip mining of this land and the resulting impact on their lifestyle in a real david and goliath struggle. and so, i really wanted to get a sense of exactly what they were standing up for. what was happening to them. and to see what was happening to the land so i could, you know, have my own independent judgment what was going on. and mr. steyer, what is your
