No. 6 Oklahoma State softball rallies to stun No. 1 Oklahoma College softball predictions for the rest of the 2021 season Share STILLWATER  The Oklahoma State softball team improved to 40-6 (15-1 Big 12) on the season with a 6-4 victory against the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners (40-2, 14-1) on Friday night. The Sooners jumped out to an early lead, scoring two in the second and third innings. The Cowgirls responded with a run in the third and a four-run fourth inning, which included two-run home runs by Chyenne Factor (1-for-3, 2 RBI) and Hayley Busby (1-for-3, 2 RBI). OSU tacked on an insurance run via a Kiley Naomi (1-for-2, RBI) solo homer to secure the game one victory.

GCHS debate students to nationals

GCHS debate students to nationals Garden City Telegram The Garden City High School Debate team finished the national qualifying tournament for the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) on April 17.  The team qualified a number of students that will be competing at the national tournament this June. The team also received a series awards from the NSDA.  The school belongs to the West Kansas NSDA. The following students have earned qualifying spots and will be competing at the national tournament.  The team qualified a number of seniors for nationals in Public Forum Debate.  They are Reagan Wright and Gracie Mueller.  This will be Mueller’s fourth national competition.  She is only GCHS’ second four-time qualifier for national competition.
